Cranberry Pond is a cozy bungalow cabin with plenty of space to unwind and escape with family and friends, indoors and out. Located just outside the quaint town of Livingston Manor on a private road, the house is set on ten acres with open meadows and wildflowers, making it extremely quiet and private.
The House
The light-filled home has an abundance of windows in every room, bringing the beauty of the outdoors in. The living area has a vintage wood-burning fireplace for chilly nights, and a large dining table for entertaining ten guests, with sliding glass doors that lead to the expansive outdoor deck and views of Cranberry Pond. The newly remodeled kitchen has its own views and access to the deck and features a Bertazzoni stove, brand new appliances, and is stocked with everything a modern chef could need.
The Property
The house is located on ten private acres, with rolling open meadows surrounded by wildflowers and gorgeous views of Cranberry Pond. Meander down the quiet private roads or explore nearby hikes, roast marshmallows around the cast iron fire pit, gaze at the star filled sky, and just enjoy the fresh air.
The Bedrooms
There are three bedrooms in the house, two with queen beds and one with a full bed, each with its own private entrance where you can access the patio and deck that wrap around the entirety of the property. Just steps from the house is a separate guest cabin with a queen bed and desk. A featured StayFloyd property, the bedrooms are outfitted with Floyd beds, luxurious linens made by the manufactures of Frette, along with custom colorful Maharam textiles.
The master bedroom features an ensuite bathroom with shower, while the other bedrooms utilize the main bathroom with tub or the outdoor shower. Ultra plush towels and bath amenities are provided so you can relax at ease.
Family Friendly
The house is great for families, with plenty of space to put a portable crib or kids cot (which we provide), a highchair, changing table, baby bath, baby monitor, a few toys, and lots of space to run around outdoors. There's also a great playground a few minutes away in Livingston Manor.
